Hi, I have recently bought an SSD and I am trying to do a clean install by wiping my HDD and re-installing windows 8.1 onto the SSD. I have one problem though, I can't seem to find a place to download the 8.1 ISO. Another problem is, I can't seem to find my Windows product key.
My system came with Windows 7 installed, I bought and upgraded to 8 last year and to 8.1 a few weeks ago. Apparently it came in an email but it must have been deleted at some point because after a year of an email sitting there, it just gets forgotten about. I used a program called Belarc Advisor which showed me a product key which I presumed was it. I then went on to do the Windows 8.1 ISO thing where you use the Windows 8 installer, then cancel it and then run the 8.1 installer. When inputting the product key into the Windows 8 installer, it says that it's an upgrade key and cannot be used. When trying to use the Windows 8.1 installer, it says I already have 8.1 installed.
I'm pretty stuck for ideas now so any help would be greatly appreciated.
