Gtx 770 vs R9 290 (on-reference)

that comparison is not adequate. The 770 should be compared to the r9 280x. The r9 290 obviously crushes the 770 by about 20% more frames in most games. Even the r9 280x trades blows with the 770 and beats out the 770 (in my opinion).
R9 290 outperforms the 770 without a doubt. But with the reference cooler it runs noticeably hot and loud.
