So I just bought a Deepcool Neptwin CPU cooler which had a fan hub included in the package.
The fan hub supports up to 4 fans so I was wondering if it it safe to plug fans in all 4 headers , then connect the fan hub to the CPU fan header on the motherboard.

Will this stress the fan header on the motherboard? The MB is a MSI Z87 G43 .

I plan on using 2 Corsair SP120mm fans ( rated at 0,09 A each) for the heatsink , and the 2 Deepcool fans that came with the heatsink (which I believe are normal DeepCool UF120 with the chassis painted black rated at ~ 0.13 A each ) for case intake/exhaust .

According to the manual, the MSI Z87-G43 has 2 CPU fan headers and 3 chassis fan headers, so why bother adding the hub? What benefit could there be?

I would just put the 2 heat-sink fans to the 2 CPU fan headers and the 2 chassis fans to the closest "SYSFAN" headers.

Ok i will try that !
And also I just found out that my case has a fan controller which supports 2 fans so it turn out I might not need the FanHub.
Thanks for the quick reply !!!

I can see you also have a 4670k which is clocked @4.6 GHz , so I assume that it should be pretty safe to take my 4670k to 4.2 GHz on this Neptwin cooler with the Corsair SP fans.

You're welcome!

I don't know anything about that cooler, but if it is any good, 4.2 GHz should not be a problem. Just don't try it with the stock cooler.
