I have a solid blue box, perhaps a sixteenth of my screen area that blocks my view of the upper right side of my screen. It does not move, I can click on the things underneath (I cannot see them) and there is no text on it. It just blocks my view. I tried rolling back my display driver and rebooting. I have a radeon HD 5700 video card, windows 7 64 bit, 8 gb of ram, an HP LP2475w monitor. Windows and the display driver report they are up to date. It is quite annoying. Thanks for any help you may provide.

Try the monitor on a different PC to see if the problem follows the monitor or the video card (PC).
Try different screen resolutions.
Reset the monitor back to factory defaults.
Warranty repair/replace.

Thanks, different resolutions did not help.
Maybe this is another clue. When I lowered the screen resolution, the size of the box stayed he same.
I will see about trying a different pc if I don't get a better suggestion. It just isn't convenient to check quickly.
