Hello all, let me first say, what a great forum! I was wondering if I could get a little advice on a system I'm building. The system is going to be stationed on a boat that travels around the world, doing marine geology work. The components will have to be close to the best out there to meet the specs I need, so chances are they will need to be liquid cooled so they don't overheat.

I'm a little concerned about liquid cooling, because the boat is going to be sloshing around in the waves. That being said, the hoses and fittings on a liquid based cooling system would have to be top notch. Here is the system specs I need to meet (don't worry about price, because I'm willing to pay for quality):

1. 19” rack mountable case and shipping case
2. Dual quad-core processors/motherboard
3. SLI graphics cards to run 4 monitors (2 cards)
4. 500 gb solid state HDD
5. 3X 2TB raided harddrives (6TB total) 7200 RPM or faster
6. Dual Ethernet ports (gigabit)
7. 128 GB memory
8. > 5 external USB ports
9. 2 internal USB ports
10. Power supply to run everything (calculate wattage)
11. 2 users working independently on the same system (I'm considering using this software: http://www.miniframe.com/products/softxpand-2011-duo.html)

Let me know if you'd like me to expand on anything, and I appreciate any advice! Thanks.

Maybe this?

Case: Chieftec Bravo BA-01B-B-B
DVD player: 2x LG GH24NS70
RAM: 4x Crucial 32 GB ECC Registered DDR3-1333 Kit (128 gb ram, and pretty good latency)
GPU: 2x Club 3D GeForce GT 640 LP (Shitload of V-Ram)
HDD: 3x Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 (3x 2tb)
CPU COOLER: Corsair Hydro Series H100i
Case cooling: 2x Scythe Ultra Kaze 3000 and 5x Scythe Kama PWM 92mm (More than enough cooling, no overheating)
Processor: Intel® Core™ i7-4960X (Extreme processor)
Motherboard: MSI Big Bang XPower II, socket 2011 moederbord
SSD: Samsung 840 EVO MZ-7TE750BW (Gigantic SSD with much speed)
PSU: SilverStone ST1200-G Evolution 2.0 (way moore than enough)

Maybe you find the case a bit too big. And the system is pretty expensive;)
Im pretty sure you can make this a bit cheaper but I didn't have much time.

If you want better graphics cards, you can always take a sli EVGA GeForce GTX Titan SuperClocked :D or a crossfire r9 290x which is way cheaper and better than the sli GTX titan:D
But I don't know how heavy programs you want to run;)

This build should do well, is over spec, but 24c/48T can be quite useful, gave you 2 Low-Spec Quadros, but can add higher-spec, 160 GB of Memory, gives you an extra 32 GBs for sharing, added a USB Card with 7 ports, 2 PCIE SSDs for speed, 2 3TB HDDs for storage, and to power it all, a 1600w PSU that supports Dual Socket Systems.
