I cant get my mouseman and cordless keyboard to both work at the same time.

Locate model number of the mouse and keyboard, and google it to see if there is any set up is needed. My old wireless keyboard and mouse kit from IBM needed certain physical steps, although I think these days things are connected automatically. Maybe mouse and keyboard combo need such steps.
