I have this problem for sometime and I still don't know what causes it. When it decides, flash player stops working (no sound and video stops), i've checked VLC and it doesn't play videos and the desktop is messed up in the sense that if I save a file do the desktop (like notepad) it doesn't update the desktop but the file is there if I go there with Windows Explorer. If I restart everything is back to normal.
I have everything up to date and no way of knowing what it is.
Sound card: Creative X-Fi Go
Webcam: Logitech Pro 9000
Graphics: 2x Radeon 5800
Antivirus: Eset Nod 32 AV
