hey guys. im building a new system and I would like to know if the parts I want are compatible.

The CPU i want is an AMD FX 8350 AM3+
the Motherboard i want to use is a GIGABYTE GA-970A-DS3P (rev. 1.0)
As for the RAM im not sure wether i should judt get kingston hyper x ddr3 (1600mhz) or wether its worth the extra cash getting kingston hyper x predator (1866mhz). Ive always used kingston because its always been reccommended to me as the best. are there any brands of RAM which have faster timings than kingston for the same frequencies? Also the ammount i want is 8gb total. shall i buy one 8gb DIMM or 2 4gb DIMM's? ive been told splitting the ram up between the slots is better for performance.

thanks in advance.

The MB has listed for you is better than your chosen one. And always go with 2 modules of RAM. And what is the make/model of PSU ?

I picked the gigabyte board because its the one i wanted. however the asus board does look very tasty. in what way is the asus board better? i take it the g skill ram actually uses 1866 chips and not 1333 like some other 1866 brands. the psu is 950w, not a top brand either.
