I've been having a problem lately were (on Paging set to default) I get minimum 36% HDD usage (task manager) with SYSTEM using 23MB/s write speed.
On Paging with Double the amount I get 66% HDD usage with 36MB/s Write Speed.
But lately it became 99% minimum regardless of paging, I tried no paging, half paging, anything, it still uses 99% (Yes I restarted).
However, I decided to analyze C: for defragment, and as soon as it was done analyzing (not optimizing) Usage became 1% maximum.... But it still didn't optimize! how's that (paging was off , restarted PC, then set to double , didn't restart yet).
How could it be?
I know that when the usage is high game loading times take long, but I've found out that now it sometimes shows 100% usage, even though it still plays two emulators at 60FPS x6 Native Resolution.
I'm afraid to restart the PC...Defragment is still processing (0%).
Any thoughts?

Note: I have two HDDs 0 and 1, 1 is mirroring 0, so one of them is always 100% and the other is 1%. but when the error happens both are always 100%.
