I recently bought a graphic card through ebay. The seller stated that it was low profile Radeon HD6450. The card did not come with its original package nor manual. The driver dvd was also not original (DVD-R burned).

I tried to install the driver from the dvd but unsuccessful. I was then visit AMD website and use their "auto-detect" driver installation. The card was detected as HD 7000 series instead of HD 6000 series. Here are some information that I got after installation:

How can I know that the card that I bought is HD 6450? FYI, my windows is a freshly-installed Win7 64bit (I have recetly re-formatted my HDD). My desktop is HP Compaq SFF Elite 8000.

Update:
I have recently go googling, and I found this: http://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/125796/dell-hd7470-1024-120408.html
Reading the information of the specs, I think that my card is detected as Radeon HD 7470. The physical appearance of my card also exactly the same as the one that is pictured in the above link.

Could it be that my card is HD 7470 rather than HD 6450? Which one is better?

Solution
The Radeon HD 7470 is actually a rebranded Radeon HD 6450, but with higher clock speeds. The Radeon HD 6450 DDR3 has a core speed of 625MHz and RAM speed of 800MHz. Both are based on the same GPU core called Caicos.
