I have been getting screen tearing for a long, long time now in every game and now I want to get rid of it. I've used Vsync since I was getting screen tearing the first time but I don't like to force Vsync on. The thing is that, it doesnt matter which framerate I have, I still get screen tearing. I have a 60Hz Monitor and when I cap the FPS to 60 I still get this annoying tearing. In this way, a new 120Hz monitor wouldnt fix my tearing problems, right? Is it my GPU? I have a GTX 660 Ti 2GB. Maybe I need a new GPU cause I don't want to use Vsync so don't recommend me do do so.

As far as I know I didn't have this problem when I just bought my computer (1 year ago) and I haven't changed anything, I've only added a SSD.

Please help me, I just want someone to help me out!

The bottom line is that if you have higher FPS than the refresh rate of your monitor, you will be getting screen tearing. If you have a 60mhz monitor, you can only go up to 60 FPS without screen tearing. If you usually are getting 100+ FPS I would recommend getting a 120mhz monitor. If you don't want to drop so much cash or aren't getting very much higher FPS than 60, turn on vsync or adaptive vsync in the nvidia control panel. I always have adaptive vsync on with my gtx 660 sc and its great, much better than normal vsync.
