Hey guys. I have a random radeon hd 5770 graphics card driver my uncle gave to me and I was wondering what I had to improve before I took this step in adding it to my computer. I also have a Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 I want to add on as well.
Graphics Card: Nvidia Geforce GT 610
6144MB Ram
Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU G620 @ 2.60GHz (2 CPUs), ~2.6GHz
System: Lenovo
Height: 14 inches
Width: 6.8 inches
Depth: 16 inches

Also along with your suggestions, which upgrades will need to be mandatory for the card, and which are just recommended? Tight budget around here, of course.

Is there a certain size I need to get? I see some good ones on amazon, but I don't want to buy something that won't fit the dimensions. Or are all of them the same dimensions? Ha I will always have trouble putting computers together on the inside.

I have a dynex 520w psu and it's working great right now, just got it today. I had to put my old graphics card back in, my radeon 5770 won't send any signal to my monitor. Any reason why? The computer runs fine with the regular graphics card in it but not with the radeon. I see some people say it may be the mother bios, how do I check that?

I do, but after some wiggling around it finally worked. The card isn't brand new by the way. Which makes this NEXT problem not too surprising for me. The card pretty much works great and so does my new PSU. I went from running games with completely low graphics/medium graphics to utlra on every one of them. My only problem is that the fan is making a LOT of noise. After taking the card out I noticed the fan wobbles a lot, it's unstable. After I touch it to see how bad the wobble is the fan comes OFF, and I see that it seemed to have some kind of adhesive to it before but it crusted off basically. There are no screws to hold it into place, but there is a magnet in the middle of the fan that holds it to the card itself. I'm using it like that right now and it works fine, doesn't overheat or anything, but it's very very loud and at times the fan sounds like it's going to fall off. If I go out to get some thermal paste, will I be able to reapply the paste around where the magnet is to quiet it down? That's where the crusty looking adhesive stuff was.

Two choices:
1, Stick the fan back down, double sided tape/pads should do the job, just be sure to scrape all the old stuff off first to give the tape a firm, fairly smooth surface to stick to.
2, find a case fan of the same (or slightly larger) size as the current one, remove the old fan completely and attach the new fan using either cable ties or sticky tape/pads. Several companies make variable speed fans, I've found the old Antec Tricool 3-speed fans to be a great source of comfort to me when such things happen.

Must say, I've never had a fan apart like that.
It looks to me as if the ring magnet is used to hold the fan blade assembly in place while the metal 'prong' in the middle of the X shaped windings in your second photo is actually a bearing surface that works inside the cup in the centre of the fan, in your first photo.
Try this: Use a paper towel and try to clean the cup in the fan blade assembly as much as you can (the cup is then tiny depression in the middle) then put a DROP of oil to it and reassemble.
