this going to be long and tough to explain.
I have 4 routers and a switch and my pc shows up on all the routers as a connected device under the device list and i don't understand why. here is a rough topology
these are wireless routers that I have turned off dhcp except for #1 I have static ips set on them all and they all our on the same subnet. don't let the term router trick you only #1 is doing dhcp the rest are really just switches since i turned routing off

cable modem > connected to router #1

router #1 (is doing dhcp) connected to my pc, a printer, router #2 and router #3

router #2 has router #4 and a couple of wired devices

router #4 has poe cisco switch and some other devices

this has just grown out of control i do this to gain wireless coverage in and outside the house.

ugh anyway i cant understand why my pc shows as a connected device on all the routers 85% of all the connections made are wireless

I really hope that makes some since

Solution
It may be because you are using your PC to access the network devices and the other PC's are not accessing the devices?

Try accessing the devices from the other PC's and see if they start showing up as connected devices as well.

what confuses me is that my pc shows up on all router as a connected device BUT the other 2 wired pcs only show up on #1

my pc wired to router #1 shows up on all routers
second pc wired to #1 this one is only listed on router #1
third pc wired to router #2 this one is only listed on router #1

I would think that all pc's should show up on router #1

actually all the wired devices show up on router #1 except my pc the wireless devices show up on what ever router they are connected to
