Hi, I have had this problem for about a year now, it isn't very freequent but it has been worse before and I don't want this computer to black out.
The crash is something very strange that I am sure it is hardware (it just can't be software), it freezes completly, but here's the thing, its instant, so even if you are listening to music at that time, it will keep repeting the same sound for ever, until you force reboot on the laptop, no blue screens, no erros, nothing, its so instant that not even the computer has registry of error anywhere.
BUT, the image is still on, so I guess it is not a motherboard problem as it is a laptop and the graphics card is integrated, it is just frozen and will not change at all, the hard drive also keeps spinning but won't read anything and that's it, the rest of it is pretty much dead.
The first times I had this happen was when I somehow shaked the laptop, even punching the table where the laptop is would cause the crash sometimes, but now, I can shake it and nothing happens UNLESS it "randomly" happens wich has happened to crash while i'm in the bathroom and the computer stays doing thing.
- It CAN be a motherboard problem but I don't think so.
- It CAN'T be the hard drive because you can still do somethings while your hard drive is crashed.
- I don't think its the memory as I think it would not cause instant crash but yes a blue screen.
- And the one I am thinking most of, is the CPU badly placed, but I have never removed the heat sink so I don't know how that works.
There is nothing about these crashes on the internet (I have not found them), so I hope you can help me and sorry for the long text but this is causing me to worry a little bit
