My rig:
Processor: AMD FX6300,
Ram: 8GB Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz,
GPU: Palit GTX460 SE.

Would you say this is a decent gaming pc? What kind of performance would this setup get for new games like Battlefield 3/4. I'm also planning on getting a new Graphics card for about £160, what would you recommend?
Thanks

Solution
GPU is pretty poor, the rest is fine (though I will need more information to recommend a new GPU)
what PSU and Mother Board?

at 160 pounds I would recommend:
PCPartPicker part list
Video Card: MSI Radeon R9 270X 2GB Video Card (£152.99 @ Dabs)
Total: £152.99

The R9 270x, it is a decently powerful card, it's basically a Radeon HD 7870 reboot with slight upgrades

from this chart you can see that it can get 60 fps average on Battlefield 4 at High settings 1080p

Your CPU is weaker than the one used in the benchmark though so expect 50-60 average.

Mobo is an MSI 970A-G46
PSU is a Corsair CX500M.

Thanks very much. much appreciated!
Another concern is that the mobo is only PCI-E 2 and the card seems to be PCI-E 3. Would that cause issues with performance or anything?
