So I currently live in Mexico but I'm going to L.A. during winter break and decided to take this opportunity to buy a new laptop. I'm currently using an Alienware m14x R1 but my GPU sucks and my battery is at around 47% decay. Thus before going to college I decided to buy a new one. Many people have told me that the razer blade of 2000$ is decente nough as it has a decent amount of space in the hard drive and is light as well as very powerful. However, I've been thinking of also buying brands such as ASUS but I'm not sure which is the best to buy.
So any suggestions? I'm thinking of using no more than 2000$

Thanks!

I was thinking on buying the razer blade of 2000$ with 256 GB but I was worried that maybe it was too little space as if I divided it into my C drive and D drive, I would actually only have around 100 GB of space... But other than that I would like a slim and light computer such as the razer blade unlike an alienware since its too heavy

From my experience the Ailenware brands products have been of low standard and quality, and the best that i have come across have been the MSI brand. Razer systems have had decent reviews and so have the Origin systems.

I do agree that Alienware brands have not been top quality as I expected it to be. However, I have never seen the MSI brand and am quite interested. And so far, the razerblade has caught my attention. I'm just not sure if there are cheaper brands with the same qualitiea.

Man... the specs are just amazing... The only thing that I want is that I wanted a 14~15 inch screen as I don't want to be carrying a huge laptop...

Does any1 know something about this?

Buy a Razer Blade, you'll save some money and it's a powerful gaming laptop.

Well I'm still caught up between the three... I still dont know why the Razer Blade is so expensive though... and the only thing that worries is me is the fact that at 2000$ it only has 256 GB of memory which I'll only be able to use around 128 if I split it in the D and C drive

Still caught between Asus, Razer Blade or MSI... any info on the three?

I might suggest you to get a Msi brand of laptop. The performance for the Msi ge series is quite good. For the ge60-20d I think just cost about rm4000 in malaysia, and the specs also quite high.
