I have a geforce gtx 460 in my computer and I can't seem to get anything to acknowledge that it exists.

I just upgraded my power supply to 500 watts. and have one of the six pin power connectors hooked up. The fan is running but when I try to install the driver, it says no hardware exists.

I have GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 built into mobo, and it recognizes only that.

I have windows vista 32 bit.

Yes you can use the mole-6pin adapter and use a molex cable to connect the adapter with the PSU.

Like Gate9er said, try getting an adapter of some sort. I have the same card as you, and because I do not have the proper cables, I use a molex splitter to two molex to six pin adapters.
