Hey guys, I plan to buy and build myself a gaming PC for Christmas, because I want to be able to play games with mods, and the best graphics.

My budget is around $850 after rebates and shipping;

I will be buying these parts around Black Friday;

I need an OS (Windows 7 or 8, which one?)

I will NOT need a monitor, I'll be using my Vizio TV (1080p) (for now, plan to upgrade in the future)

I'll be using this for gaming and homework/internet browsing;

I will be purchasing parts from Newegg and Amazon

I prefer intel CPUs and Nvidia GPUs

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI: In the future, not anywhere near now

I will mostly be playing games like Oblivion, Skyrim, Fallout, and be using the Creation Kits to mod these games

I am not upgrading, just making a switch from consoles to PC.

Here is my build, please feel free to recommend better parts, as long as they fit the budget.

I will update this later as right now I have "pressing matters to attend to".

Thats a good setup, but he can only spend $850, not $950, and Windows 8 is not very good unless you have a touchscreen monitor.
