I have a few questions as this is my first build.

Will this build need a CPU cooler? (I don't plan on overclocking)

How will it play future games?

How will it play games out now like battlefield 4?

How is my motherboard?

Is there anything I do to make it a lot better and still stay near my budget?

Thanks

Good looking budget build!

1) You don't HAVE to get a cpu cooler, but the stock ones suck and are noisy. For $30 or so you can get a more efficient, quieter cooler (ex. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103099).

2) It ought to run BF4 pretty well, medium/high settings with good frame rates, if my guess is right.

3) A 2GB R9 270X is a mid range card, so if you're ok with medium/high settings at 50-60fps at standard 1080p in the future, it should play future games well. Higher resolutions/more demanding games will bring down performance.

4) Excellent motherboard choice.

5) This 7950 isn't much more for a bit better performance: http://us.ncix.com/products/?usaffiliateid=1000031504&sku=68593&vpn=FX795ATNFC&manufacture=XFX&promoid=1054 ($224)
