In all my builds I've never worried about looking up supported RAM before buying, so I'm probably just being paranoid.
I'm looking at the ASRock Z75 Pro3 motherboard and there seems to be a limited selection of [cheaper] RAM for it on NewEgg that is listed as supported on the ASRock site.
I found some G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series for $78 that are listed as supported but was wondering about another one. It's Kingston HyperX Blu for $65.
Now, the Blu isn't listed as supported from the ASRock site, but there's another set of Kingston HyperX that is the exact same specs but for $90.
The HyperX Blu should work, right? If it defaults to 1333 I can live with that as there will be a dedicated video card.
