Replacement for gtx 470 SLI

I've been running two EVGA GTX 470s in SLI for the past three years, and they've been pretty good to me. But lately, they're starting to struggle going past medium settings with the latest like Arma III, BF4, and even CS:GO. I was wondering what a good replacement might be? I would like to get BF4 maxed out and smooth at 2560x1440. Thanks!

I would go gtx 780/sli in the future and mostly i wouldnt recommend the r9 heater 290x nor crossfire at this time

I have an i7 950 oc'd to 3.8ghz. My budget is around 4-500.
