how do i increase my vram?

im using a amd a8-4500m apu with radeon tm hd graphics 1.90 ghz tis a laptop i need 1gb of vram to play x rebirth but i only have 528mb and since this is a laptop if i cant increase it how do i put a new card in if i even can. i tryed going into the bios but there is nothing there about my vram.

most laptop the vram is capped by the vendor bios. even adding a card if your laptop could take one wont change the max setting unless the vendor has a newer bios with larger v-ram settings. look under primany display see if you can change the video size there.
