I have an XFX 6770. It has HDMI, DVI, and VGA ports on it. I assumed (maybe incorrectly?) that I could then connect a monitor to each. I have a Dell 1280x1024 in the VGA, and an ACER 1920x1080 in both the DVI and HDMI (they're the exact same model)

I can get any combination of two monitors. VGA & DVI, VGA & HDMI and DVI & HDMI, As soon as I try to apply changes (just through windows. No eyefinity stuff) it says it's unable to do so with no further details. I'm also not using any adapters, although my HDMI cable is itself an HDMI to DVI. It's a solid cable though. Not sure if it matters. Otherwise the DVI goes to DVI and then VGA to VGA. My brain tells me this should work.

I was so excited to have 3 monitors. Anyone know what's up?

So does that mean it's impossible to have 3 monitors with my current graphics card?
