I recently built a new desktop PC. I purchased G.SKILL Ripjaws 8GB DDR3 2133 (PC3 17000) RAM that defaults to 16000.
I have the MSI Z87-G41 motherboard, how do I get the faster speed through an XMP profile?
I also have the MSI command center and it looks like I can increase it through there, but that involves changing the CPU and/or RAM voltage and I'm not sure how to do it without potentially causing an issue.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
