So the issue I am having is that when my PC goes into sleep mode (automatically or manually) it turns off instead. When I say it turns off I am not saying that it goes through the shutdown process instead of going to sleep. It shuts down immediately, like if someone unplugged the power cord. No I am unsure as to if this is a motherboard issue or something else but I figure this is a good place to ask.

Now before everyone jumps on me about checking settings and everything let me explain what I have tried. I have gone into my power settings and made sure all my sleep mode and shut down settings and the like were normal. Still had the same problem. So I have checked all my hardware to make sure everything is plugged in securely. Still same problem.

My set up is as follows:
Asus Rampage IV Extreme
Intel i7 3930k
Corsair Dominator 4 x 4gb
Asus GTX 680 4gb x 2
Corsair 250gb SSD
Asus Bluray optical drive

If you guys need any other information to better understand the problem just let me know and thank you in advance to whomever assists me.

I am running Windows 8.1, all firmware and software versions are up to date, I have the Corsair AX1200i PSU, and I have not checked the BIOS yet but will as soon as I finish this message.
When I click the button to send it to sleeps it starts going into sleep mode like any normal PC would but then it immediately turns off.
