Sir, my pc's cpu has stopped working yesterday. When i switched on the cpu there is power supply in all the components but there's no display in the monitor(18.5 inch LCD). This problem starts 2 days ago, while playing games it hanged so i switched off the main power and then restarted it but after that there is no display in the monitor. I've tested my cpu on other (fresh) monitor but there's also no display. Only the blue light indicating powersupply in monitor is there. Please suggest me in which cpu part the fault may be. My pc's specs-Intel Core 2 Duo 2.93 Ghz processor, 2gb ram, 320gb hard disk.(sorry for bad english)

Probably loose connections or overheating. Make sure you check all the connections are connected firmly, and clean your PC inside

I have a feeling that the OP doesn't even know what a CPU is. He thinks that it's the tower itself. You can't "switch on" a CPU. The CPU is the chip mounted on your motherboard inside the computer case itself. What you are calling the CPU is actually called... the computer.

Appreciate my help but if his cpu doesn't work then his "computer" wouldn't work at all. Upgrading a cpu would have been better anyway.
