So, I think my wife is going to let me build a new PC as long as I can keep the costs down. To save some money I will be keeping some things from my current desktop. This build's main purpose for me is gaming:

My current rig:
Intel Core 2 Q9650 in a Gigabyte motherboard with 4gb DDR2.
LG Blu-ray Combo Writer
4 HDDs (all WDs; 1 500gb, 1 640gb, 2 1TB)
ATI hd5850
OCZ Gamexstream 600w ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341001 )
All inside a Antec Three Hundred

I would like to keep my blu ray drive, HDDs, and case. I am wondering if it is unwise to keep my PSU as it's about 6 or 7 years old.

First off, I am building in Japan, which will have a small affect on what I want.
I am pretty sure I am going to go with an i5 4570. For a motherboard I am thinking of an ASrock Fatal1ty H87 Performance. I want to get 8gb of ram, but not sure what speed to get.
Picking a PSU is hard since I don't know a lot of the companies. I was thinking about this one: http://www.amazon.co.jp/%E3%82%B5%E3%82%A4%E3%82%BA-%E3%80%90HASWELL%E5%AF%BE%E5%BF%9C%E3%80%91-%E3%83%8E%E3%83%BC%E3%83%9E%E3%83%AB-80PLUS%E3%83%97%E3%83%A9%E3%83%81%E3%83%8A-SPTRP-700/dp/B00CC7HHLO/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1384928507&sr=8-1-fkmr0&keywords=%E5%B8%9D%E5%8A%9B%E3%83%97%E3%83%A9%E3%83%81%E3%83%8A+%E3%83%8E%E3%83%BC%E3%83%9E%E3%83%AB+sptrp-600

For my video card I will buy from the states and have it shipped here via my parents it they will bring it. I want the XFX DD 280x.

And I may add an SSD like Samsung evo4 120gb if I have enough money.

So, should I replace my PSU? Will I be able to fit that 280x in my case? Any memory or motherboard suggestions?
