Micro-stuttering Knowledge HELP (amd7950)

Hey all,
I am interesting is learning more about micro stuttering and if these are the symptoms I'm actually feeling.

Specs:
3570k @ 4.2
msi 7950--reference (very simple card) stock ~840mhz
asrock itx
8gb ram

Anyways, I've been playing some BF4, and currently experiencing jittery/stuttering when walk and look around. I have also experienced it with other games as well. I play on a variety of med/high/ultra to achieve 100-120fps. I know this is a new game, ect..

I just wanted some knowledge on the matter and possible fixes or tweaks i can make to make it less apparent.
I have used vsync, maxed my frames to 60fps/100/120, but same story.
I am using driver 13.11 beta(ive had problem with every driver).
Is there a possibility that I haven't fully uninstalled old drivers and it could be affecting it somehow?

Definitely open to discussion/ideas/fixes..

thanks all

make sure you have the newest bios..to rule out bios bug and newest mb chipset drivers.
  2. alright, i'll check to see what version i'm using..if it's outdated, should I get the newest one? or i see one that improvies PCIE, CPU, ect.. The newst bios should include older fixes correct?

  5. looks like 1.8 bios you have is fine. the 1.9 does not look like it fixed much.
  6. That's really strange. I don't even get microstuttering with two HD 7970s in crossfire. Perhaps your card has a hardware problem.

Yeah maybe I'm diagnosing the problem incorrectly. It could be something completely different. I'm getting great frames but when I walk and look around I don't get smooth, seamless picture. Could I possibly need a new mouse??
  8. Does it matter if I have my monitor on 120hz and it happens to dip below 120fps, will it effect what I'm seeing ?
