Would buying this PC at this time still be a good idea?

I want to know if this PC will keep up for a few more years ahead (3 or more years, I don't know)
Will it be able to run the latest applications and games very well? As well as video editing/rendering stuff like that, I'm not looking for the best of the best and the fastest, but Still quite fast would be nice!

Or should I go for this one

I know the second one will be of course a little better, but if its not that big of a difference I would rather like to spend less money... :p I want to know if I will be satisfied for a few years with the cheaper one.

Solution
the i5 and i7 same cpu just that the i7 has 4 virtual cores. and a ssd.
you can add a ssd latter for faster boot speeds. if you can put in a z87 motherboard it let you sli latter if if the asus-a motherboard or one that has video ports running at 16x/8x/8x. and bump the power supply to 850w. then when you can or need to you can drop in another 760 and sli them.
