Hey guys,
I'm building a PC within the next month, and I was wondering if it would be better to buy a cheap CPU ($150) and mobo ($100) now then buy broadwell when it comes out or buy full priced stuff now? (CPU for $265 and mobo for $200)
Here's my original thread: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-1889092/1600-gaming-general-purpose-build-wondering-good.html
What CPU and mobo would you recommend? I live in Australia and I would like to buy off: http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=index

Thanks in advance

Yes, you can do that. But you will need to change MoBo also. Intel release a new socket every year. So you will have discard them after an year or so. I don't recommend that. I think its simply wasting 200$.

AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core / 109.99 $ and Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 104.99 $

Total 214.98 $

I am building this for my self.
