That cooler isn't exactly heavy duty, also it depends a lot on the motherboard you are using. In honesty, and this is not a cop out. If your motherboard will take it put an E8600 or Q6600 in there. They are so cheap second hand now, start off with a higher base clock with the E8600 and you are already part way there for about £30.
