I ran into this problem a few days ago, when I am not using my computer I put it in sleep mode. Never had a problem bringing it back up. Went to wake it, system came on, but no display. Tried a restart, but no go on the display as well. I've tried to re-seat the video card multiple times, no go. I ended up taking it in to have it looked at, but then it started working again. So thinking it was a fluke, I took it home and it worked fine.........until I put the computer in sleep mode again. Now no matter what I do, and I've gone as far as completely re-seating everything in the case, checking individual ram sticks, but I am getting no display. I know this system works because I've had it for over 2 years. The real weird thing is the system still boots fine (windows chime music when it loads, I can hotkey to applications that make noise), its just no display. I have tried different plugs as well (analog, HDMI). Is this a pretty clear indicator that the graphics card has died? I would put up the specs for my computer, but I am not near the computer as of right now to give the specs list.
