What non reference model is the best? and is 4g needed for single monitor 1920x1080p.

budget:£230

I have got an MSI and I would suggest it to anyone.....it is DEAD QUIET and it is a missile! If you have a window on your case it looks pretty cool too! On Amazon is £198 (and some pence) a bargain and 2gb will be enough for a loooooooooong while!

I am truly satisfied and I am already planning to upgrade to a 780 still MSI :)

That is plenty of power.... I run it on i5 4570 Haswell with extra 120mm fan in my case (Cooler Master Elite 120) with a Zalman 500w and it works like a charm!

I am building a budget rig for my nephew and I am going to get him a HD7700 still from MSI as I do like the quality and quietness of the card.
