What kind of router do I need to have 3 tablets, 2ps3 on it ?

Depends. How big is your place? In terms of range, the Asus RT-AC66U is a great router to have. It's not the fastest, but it is good and has awesome range. I personally own one.
But if your place is not big (like an apartment), then I would recommend a Buffalo N600 would be a strong pick. It has fast speeds but range is somewhat poor.

Most wireless routers will work how ever you might want to get something with dual band 2.4 and or 5 Ghz range. if you live in a heavily populated area such as an apartment complex you might want to consider the 5ghz routers as the majority of people will only have 2.4ghz band routers.
as far as being able to support those devices with connectivity to the internet it would really depend on your connection speed. I for 2 playstation 3's and a couple tablets i would look at something in the 18 to 60 Mbit range. 18Mbit will ruffly supply 2.3 MB download speeds and the 60 Mbit would support up to 7MB second download speeds. this is only important if you mostly watch streaming services such as hulu netflix and other streaming providers. with the 18Mbit service you will only be able to support streaming video at 1080p but only one where as the 60Mbit you can support up to 3.
