So I've just got a brand new computer with Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit, I go to install and it on the install screen it says "Select mass storage" now I know by 'mass storage' it means my HDD which is a 1TB SATAIII drive, it's in there I can see it there, plugged in. But when I try to select the storage drive, it doesn't show up, I've looked everywhere and they all said to go into the BIOS and make sure AHCI is on, and that didn't do anything: OnChip SATA Controller enabled

OnChip SATA Type AHCI

OnChip SATA Port4/5 Type IDE, it has the option to change to 'As SATA Type' which I've tried,

It then says a lot of stuff about other things such as USB 3.0, Audi Manager, Legacy USB support, but it does have XHCI Hand-off enabled but EHCI disabled along with Port 60/64 Emulation and IOMMU Controller disabled, but then it has SB SATA Configuration which has a load of ports, that say SATA Hot Plug on ports 0 - 5 disabled but the power enabled. As for the specs,
CPU: AMD FX 6300 Black Edition
Operating System: Microsoft® Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Motherboard: Gigabyte 970A DS3P
RAM: 8GB DDR3 1333mh(2x4GB)
Hard Drive: 1TB S-ATAIII 6.0Gb/s
Optical Drive: 22x DVD±RW DL S-ATA
Graphics card: AMD Radeon R9 270X 2GB
Sound card: Onboard 7.1 Audio Case: Xigmatek Asgard
PSU: 550W Corsair VS
And I am a total noob when it comes to the BIO... please help?

It doesn't matter anymore... Sorry about the very long reply BTW... But all I done was remove the HDD, replace it with an older 40GB one turned it on and got to the Windows 7 install, turned it off and put my 1TB one inside and it worked... So it just needed a 'kickstart' if you will
