So I've been doing some digging up and found this RM-750. It looks, sounds, and according to reviews performs amazing. But so is the HX-750 (both 80 PLUS Gold, with the HX pricer).

Can someone indulge me with knowledge between the two of these? Why you would choose one over the other?

RM-750 just sounds perfect with pretty low temps, little noise when its on. Or is its biggest fault its manufactures - which was pointed out somewhere by Blackbird?

Anyone?

According to Corsair:

"The Corsair RM Series is optimized for silence and delivers gold-rated efficiency. Fully modular low-profile black cabling helps ensure fast and neat builds."

"Corsair HX Series modular power supply units are designed for gaming rigs, overclocking systems, or any PC where rock-solid stability is essential"

Yeah... actually looking into the Cooler Master V700 Gold. Read some bad reviews about the RM, and then some really bad fan issues with the HX. Stupid life.

CoolerMaster PSUs aren't known for their quality. Chances are you were looking at bad seed reviews. Stick with Corsair or SeaSonic, you'll be better off.

Cooler Master V700 is made by Seasonic, too. ( I mean the Seasonic X platform)
