Hello, I have a Sapphire Radeon hd 7970 3gb Ghz edition that has been crashing and giving me a screen with striped vertical lines and an a color that matches with the color on the screen at the point in game. I am sure it is the card because I have tested it on another rig and it did the same thing. This Christmas I am going to buy another card for crossfire and I was wondering if it would do the same thing or if it would be fine. Also if anyone knows a fix that would be great. Any help is appreciated thanks.

Psu: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817116024 I am not overclocking when I play because when I did it would crash faster. Idle I am at 46 degrees. I haven't gotten temps when playing yet but I can.

I'm assuming it is not a driver issue since you tried it in another rig.
Which could only lead me to believe it is the port you're using or the card.
I would make sure it isn't your monitor, and if it isn't. RMA the card, grab another one (since you want to xfire regardless) and wait for your new one to come back.

Applied the update, but I don't have time to play a game long enough to see if it works right now. Will get back to you thanks.

It crashed again after the update so it wasn't the tv. Thanks for the help.
