I'm gonna be getting an XPS 8700 soon and I was wondering if I could stick a GTX 660 in it.

You will most likely have to upgrade the power supply and check on the specific model of gtx 660 as size is sometimes an issue with OEM machines.

It will fit, but just barely. idk the the PSU size but if it's at least 450 you will most likely be okay, but still worth it to upgrade anyway to be safe.

As stated check to see if your PSU can handle it. Dell has been better than some, but much of the time the PSU can't handle the added power requirement.

So if somebody has nicked it, its not going to be a problem if you put one in.
