ASRock 970 Extreme3 R2.0 Motherboard, Good motherboard?!

I am building my first computer soon and a know a fair amount about CPUs and Graphics cards but all I know about motherboards is; they have different types of PCI slots and I need to have DDR3 memory because my RAM is DDR3 2133 and I know that my processor is an AMD 8320 or maybe an 8350. So as you can see I don't know much about motherboards and I was wondering if this is a good motherboard I will be able to spend about £20 more if I need to. Also is the Asrock Socket AM3+ 970 Extreme4 Motherboard a good motherboard and what is the difference between the two?

Its a very okay board, not a great one if you have plans to overclock you need to get FX990 or FX99. but if you don't want to OC that board should do pretty much anything you want it to do.

The ASRock 970 Extreme 4 is an OK board but will lack a few features.

The ASRock 990 Extreme 4 is a very good board but a bit old.

The Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 is another good budget board in this price range for OCing an FX 8320/8350.

OK which is the better board with the possibility of OCing in the future:

ASRock 990FX Extreme4 AMD 990FX (Socket AM3+)
or
Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 SKT-AM3+ Motherboard

Both will have very similar results. They are both solid boards from name brand companies. I would either go by price from wherever you want to buy them, or which one you like the looks of better.

My opinion is go for the extreme 3 R2.0 version there are other features that aren't in the non R2.0 version. The R2.0s version comes to about the same performance as the 990fx
