I recently bought the EVGA 780 Ti Super Clocked Edition from Scan.co.uk,
The previous graphics card I owned was the EVGA GTX 660 Ti,
Before turning off my PC to replace the graphics card, I deleted all graphics drivers, following many tutorials to correctly delete all Nvidia drivers.
After doing all that I turned off the PC and followed the instructions on placing the new graphics card. I put everything back together and switched on the PC.
The BIOS menu came up as usual but as a different screen size, assuming because I had no graphics drivers present, the the process beep then sounded but the BIOS menu stayed.
It stayed on the BIOS menu for about 5-7 minutes with gradual process beeps along the way.
Eventually, it done one final beep and went to a black screen. The black screen slightly lightened knowing that it was on and running, with a little hyphen like symbol blinking in the top left corner. Though the black screen stayed with the blinking hyphen and it will not continue to go off this screen. So this is where my problem stands, I really hope someone can help as I do not want to pay for someone to come over and sort the problem put when I can easily get suggestions for free on this website, any help is appreciated.
Here are my PC specs in-case this is the problem:
Video Card : GTX 780 Ti
Motherboard : Gigabyte X79 UD3
CPU : i7-3820 3.60 GHz OC 4.2GHz
PSU : OCZ Corsair 650 W
RAM : 16 Gb 2400 MHz
Hard Drives : 1. With OS - Corsair Force GT 64 gb SSD
2. OCZ Vertex 4 128 gb SSD
Here's a video demonstration of the problem as it makes it much clearer:

I tried what you asked, and did exactly the same thing as before :(

if you have your install disc for your OS, you may be able to boot with that and "repair" your OS. (Load drivers)

I'm guessing that you did too good of a job wiping drivers from your OS and now it has no idea how to deal with any GPU of any kind.

I inserted the OS disk and the same thing happens, nothing appears saying I've inserted an OS CD

Do a system restore back to when you had the 660 Ti working. Then install the 780ti and see if it boots up without the issue you are facing.
You don't need to uninstall nvidia drivers when upgrading to another Nvidia card unless they are years apart.

What do you mean attempt restore back to when 660 Ti was working? If I put my 660 Ti back in, the computer works fine if thats what you mean

Just checked my BIOS version on my motherboard using the 'cmd' command. It was the version F11, just checked BIOS drivers on my manufacturers website and the latest version was F16, so I'm going to give it a go, thank you for the suggestion

Do you know how to update the BIOS? I tried to use Q-Flash after following a tutorial but every time I select the update it states; 'Flash Utility is outdated, go to blah blah' It tells me to visit their website but I have no idea what to do

When you say one BIOS revision at a time, do you mean I have to install all the Utilities listed, one at a time? Sorry for so many questions, I just want to be sure

What i meant by each revision at a time is to go from F11 to F12 then F13 then F14 then F15 till you reach F16
Don't try to jump from F11 to F16 in one go, unless the Utility allows it, you need to update the bios utility first then try to update the bios revision.

When I select the BIOS driver list, it only comes up with the F16 update

I downloaded the @BIOS utility and I extracted it making an 'atBIOS' folder, but I don't know what to do with the folder
It's still in my downloads folder, I went into the 'atBIOS' folder, do I just click set-up and follow the instructions?

Right so I downloaded and updated the @BIOS following the instructions, restarted my computer and tried again, unfortunately it came up with the same message saying 'Flash Utility Outdated'

I've already done all those steps but the same thing occurs
