I am looking to replace the motherboard in my emachines computer with an Intel 1155 socket. I need it to be micro atx 9.6" x 9.6", 4 ram slots, and 8 pin cpu socket. I know very little about intel chipset numbering. I know Z77 is for gaming. I do want to use a 2nd or 3rd gen i5K processor. I've looked at everything on newegg and i feel lost. I'd like to keep it under $100 bucks. Can someone suggest a good reliable board? Thanks.

Never, ever assume a DOA board is the MFG's fault. You get 2 dead boards, you're building it wrong, or throwing wrong parts in it, or static shocking it and frying parts. Or one of 100 other things. Not trying to sell you on either board, but don't neccesarily take the words of people on newegg.
