Hey guys I'm having issues putting my pc together, so my question is are the Corsair CX 600 bronze and ASRock 970 extreme4 compatible pcpartpicker says they are but my 24pin isn't connecting all the way and the 8pin CPU connector is different, this is my first build and am really in the need of help. The issue I'm having is it's taking a lot of force to put the 20+4 pin in its spot.

Solution
I actually had this trouble recently with my friends computer. The 24pin didn't go over the clip; make sure it's firmly in and can't be pulled out easily and that should solve the 24pin problem. The 8pin on this motherboard should facing the right way too. Make sure everything is connected correctly and also check if your power button wires are in the right way.

Make sure the 20+4 is lined up right and that you do have it turned the right way... additionally make sure you have the cpu power cord turned the right way as well if its a 4+4 make sure the two parts are connected properly (same for 20+4).

They are all compatable as long as you have them all lined up it should go rather easy. If the 20+4 or 4+4 aren't connected it won't work you can't put in the 20 then try the 4, must be connected and then go in all at once.
