Hello, I recently tried pushing my small OC a little further on my rig.

I was trying out a better overclock on my GPU at 1200Mhz on the boost clock but the screen flashed between purple and the normal colour on 3DMark Fire Storm followed by a frozen desktop including the mouse on pressing the escape button. I'm wondering if increasing the voltage from 1000mV will help with the overclock at all. And if so, how would if affect the life span of my card. I'm thinking of upping it to 1100mV. I do have a good fan profile set up and the heat was under 70 Celsius at the time of testing.

Current Stable Gaming OC Settings:
1035Mhz Core / 1100Mhz Boost
Min. GPU Voltage: 1000mV (Pushed slightly from 987mV to stop power savings etc messing with my OC)
Memory clock: 6100
Power target: 115%

I'm aware that my CPU is currently limiting me in some games (I'm currently saving up the money for an MSI GD65 Motherboard + i7 4770k).

The article doesn't go into detail about the possible effects of additional voltage, I've already read that, it also only mentions to put the voltage up temporarily on the quick version and has no mention on what to do afterwards.
