Hey all,

I'm looking at getting a 27" 1440p IPS, I currently have a 27" 1080p Asus that I'll either sell or use as a second monitor.

This seems like an obvious question, but I'm going to want to use the 1440p display for gaming, and show my desktop on my other monitor. Is this possible, or do I have to put the game on both? Pretty sure I don't, but I don't know what settings to look out for when I do the switch to dual.

Thanks!

You can do what you are asking, I currently have a 1440 as my main and a 1600x900 right next to it. Just plug both monitors into your GPU and extend the display under resolution settings, really straight forward and easy.
