i installed my new Z87 extreme 6 mobo today along with my core i5 4670K.

windows gets automatically rebooted when windows 7 logo appears.

i tried booting with 1 stick of ram installed, and also tried changing its slots. i also tried booting without the vga plugged in. still the same. windows repaid says that it cant repair automatically when its done.

it also gets auto restarted when i try to bootin in safe mode after CLASSPNP.sys.

at the moment im with my dvd drive unplugged. What else can i do ? i even tried putting bios settings to default.

Try a different stick of memory (the one you have could be bad), if that doesn't work try reseating your processor (could cause restarts). Could also try running memtest (if you have a way of getting it on a cd/usb stick with another computer) to see if the computer is shutting down from being on a certain amout of time or if its hanging on windows. Was this HD used in another board previously? Are you sure your cpu cooler is attached well? it could be getting hot and shutting itself down (though that seems a bit quick)

I checked my cpu temp from the BIOS and its pretty decent the temperature.

CPU , im pretty sure its seated well , even the cpu cooler. Also the CPU is being recognized in the bios.

The board is brand new.I did not try memtest. What is it ? Can i try my brothers HDD and see if my system boots from it ?

I also tried different RAM,but still problem persists.
