I will soon own a Gigabyte R9 280X Windforce card and I'm just wondering if it will have any problems with my current system.

Motherboard: P8Z77-v LX2
Cpu: i5-3470 (this is what I'm most worried about I guess)
Ram: 4GB corsair vengeance 1600mhz (can upgrade easily)
PSU: 500w (edit: it's http://www.xigmatek.com/product.php?productid=41)
On the psu I'm assuming the 6+2pin connector works as the 8pin connector required for the card.

Current graphics card is a GTX 560ti, so you know what I'm upgrading from.
I also have a 128gb ssd (It's a toshiba one, not sure which) and 500gb storage drive

The card will run great with your other hardware dont worry about it. Keep an eye on that PSU if its a no name generic piece of doodoo. That may need replacing if you experience any issues.

Hey first of all thanks for the reply. I just updated my original post with the psu, but even so I can get a new psu if it's really a problem.

Have no idea if Xigmatek sells decent PSUs or not. Id guess it would be on other side of good. It should run fine unless the PSU is indeed bad. Like I said if you experience issues, try a good PSU. Corsair, PC Power and Cooling, Seasonic, XFX, to name a few.

Thanks very much you've been a great help, I'll look up a few reviews of the psu and such, and have a dig around to see if anybody else is running the specific card or something similar with it.
