I have a HP Officejet 6600 that I would like to block internet access to, but I still need it to communicate with my local network. I've found no options on the printer menu for this. As soon as it talks to the net, it bans my ink cartridge and I have to factory reset the machine.
I found one option on the router: The Guest Network provides Internet connection for guests but restricts access to your Intranet.
But I need the opposite.
Thanks for any info.

There are a couple ways. The way that works on every router is to not give it a default gateway or give it a invalid one. It can then talk to all the lan devices but nothing outside the house since it does not know where the router is.

This particular router there are likely a number of ways to block it. You could try the parental controls or use the firewall features and define a rules that blocks access from the printer IP to what ever blocks of IP you do like it to talk to.
