On Asus's website it states that
Supports CPU up to 140 W
So your CPU will be compatible with the motherboard
Your motherboard may need a BIOS update in order to work with that CPU
I would recommend the ASRock 970 Extreme3 R2.0 Motherboard HERE, this motherboard costs a little more but will not require a bios update and also supports CrossFireX
The motherboard also supports a CPU up to 140W
