can I install a motherboard from an all-in one into a tower?

I have a HP ms-213 all-in-one with a broken screen. I think I can put this motherboard in a tower I have, but I'm not sure how to hook up the monitor. I have a graphics card if I need one.

The problem of physically fitting / screwing / securing the AIO-mobo inside the tower can probably be overcome with persistence and ingenuity.

The greater problem is more likely to be:

- What about all the electrical connections?
- Especially getting a connection from the board [which is designed to run an internal monitor] to an external monitor?

It's a very interesting question, and I would like to see this thread populated with more responses.

Has anyone done this successfully, or can anyone provide a link showing where this has been done successfully?
