Hi

Looking at buying an all-in-one computer for home/work. Mainly microsoft office use, Word, PowerPoint, excel, internet, etc. Not gaming.

Found an AIO but can't decide - should I get an i5-3337U or i7-3537U processor? I don't want to get the i5 and then find it slow. Not interested in a desktop as I need some relatively portable within the home.

Thanks a mill.

i5 is fine for office and web.

both have the same integrated graphics capability.

i would say go with i5 unless you intend to use more demanding programs and multitask with them at the same time.

-----

personally i'd say build yourself a mini tower and use a monitor.... but likely you dont want to go that route.

going AIO is asking for trouble if something goes wrong. make sure to get a long warranty.

Definitely go for an i3. Anything more that that is a waste of money.

i5s are enough for gaming.
i7s are exclusively for multiple, simultaneous heavy loads.
Both are overkill for the kinds of tasks you listed.

I hope that helps!
